Our posts cover an array of interesting activities based mainly around the great outdoors. These include walks such as our short circular walk from Whitby to Ruswarp and back. Also the fantastic walk up and around Pendle Hill which is very local to us. Cycle paths as in our guide to the Cinder Track a very popular of road cycle path on the Yorkshire coast.

Other destinations include our guide to Keswick and the amazing views offered by the walk to the summit of Catbells which can be easily reached from the town.  The English Lake district truly is one of the highlights of a visit to the north west.  If you fancy a Scottish Island our guide to the Isle of Mull is a good place to start.  Offering picturesque Villages, amazing wildlife and a wealth of history.

Further south we have the stunning New Forest complete with ponies, Cycle track and beautiful villages and whilst your there why not get on the ferry and visit the Isle of white with it’s needles and sleepy towns. I visited as a child and it doesnt seem to of changed much during the passing years.

Cycle the Cinder Track | A wonderful off road adventure

The cinder track is a disused railway line that runs for twenty one miles between Scarborough and Whitby. The line it’s self was in use between 1885 and 1965. Its called the cinder track due to the cinders that where used as ballast to run the rails on.
